So Far...
Sometimes I have a hard time tracking what I have and have not done and where my focus lies in life so I'm going to make a website.
This will surely be updated regularly. If I do something cool it will be here.
Here's an image I found on this account from a long time ago:
Here's some things you could make use of / enjoy:
Archival / Data:
- The Internet Archive: The Modern Library of Alexandria that is being threated by capitalism.
Indie Web:
- 14ch_eternal-gomez: Intriguing RPG Maker games.
- Digital Blasphemy: Homegrown 3D wallpapers.
- I Code 4 Coffee: Cool video game hacking experiments.
- Nathan's Toasty Technology: Classic Microsoft hatred.
- Neocities: A discovery and creation platform for the independent web.
- Spark, Bang, Buzz: Cool homemade electronics.
- The Seventh Art: In depth writings about cinema.
- Visual Paradox: Homegrown 3D wallpapers, but sadly inactive.
Math:
- Khan Academy: Some of the better lectures for beginner level math.
Music:
- Cover Search Engine: The best search engine for high quality cover art.
- Discogs: The best music database for collections.
- /mu/ Wiki: The board sucks but the charts they produce are good introductions to genres. Fandom took down this wiki JUST because it has the name 4chan associated with it. Grab an archive here: Archive.org
- Rate Your Music: The best music database for ratings and reviews. I wouldn't recommend interacting with the community though.
Programming:
- LearnCPP: The best way to learn C++.
Utilities:
- Ad-Link Bypasser: Bypass those stupid Linkvertise and ad.fly type URLs.
- TinEye: Reverse image search that actually works (fuck Google!).
- VirusTotal: Online virus scan, don't take it to heart, but it's a good filter.
Video Games:
- Itch: Like Bandcamp but for video games.
- ProtonDB: WineHQ for Steam and actually active.
- /v/ Wiki: /v/ used to actually play video games, good ones too.
